Visit and Travel Time Warning Messages

Visits and non-patient activities in Axxess Hospice now display warning messages for the following scenarios:

When a user enters the travel start time but not the travel end time

When a user enters the travel end time but not the travel start time

When the travel time exceeds one hour

When the visit and travel times overlap

When the visit time exceeds three hours

These warning messages help users ensure that visit and travel times are accurate on visit notes and non-patient activities.

When a user selects Complete on a visit note or non-patient activity, the following warning messages will appear:

If there is no travel end time entered:

If there is no travel start time entered:

If the travel time exceeds one hour:

If the visit time overlaps with the travel time:

Visit notes will require users to correct the times before completing. Non-patient activities will provide a warning, but the user will still be able to complete the activity without correcting the overlapping times.

If the visit time exceeds three hours:

The above warning appears only in visit notes. Non-patient activities do not have this warning.

If the visit time exceeds three hours and the travel time exceeds one hour:

The above warning appears only in visit notes. Non-patient activities do not have this warning.

On any of the above warning messages, users can click Go Back to return and correct the travel/visit times or Complete to complete the note as is.
