Task assignment in Axxess Hospice is now driven by user credentials. When scheduling a task in Axxess Hospice, users can only assign the task to employees with the credentials that the task requires.
This enhancement prevents scheduling errors and increases efficiency when selecting a clinician to perform a task.
To schedule a task for a patient, navigate to the Patient Schedule screen under the Schedule tab and select Add Task.

In the Add Task window, select a task from the Task drop-down menu. Once a task has been selected, the employee list will automatically filter out any clinicians who are not set up with the credentials required to complete the visit.
For example, if RN Initial Assessment is selected from the task list, only employees with RN credentials in their employee profile will be available to select in the Employee field.
If the user selects an employee before selecting a task, the Task field will automatically filter out any tasks that the employee cannot perform based on his/her credentials.
To schedule a task for an employee, navigate to the Employee Schedule screen under the Schedule tab. In the employee’s schedule, select Add Task.

Since an employee has already been selected for scheduling, the Task field will automatically filter to include only tasks that correspond to the employee’s credentials.
Select a task from the Task drop-down menu, complete the remaining fields and click Save Task to add the task to the employee’s schedule.
