International Addresses

Axxess Hospice now enables users to document international addresses throughout the system. By enabling users to document international addresses for people involved in a patient’s plan of care, this functionality facilitates compliance and seamless operations for optimal care delivery.

International addresses can now be entered in Company Setup and Demographics. They can also be entered for authorized contacts in the following sections:

Referrals
Insurance Payers
User Profiles
Vendors
Pharmacies
Physicians
Emergency Preparedness

To add or update an international address, users must have permission to view, add and edit the desired section.

Add an International Address

When adding an address anywhere in Axxess Hospice, the Country field defaults to the United States.

To document an address outside of the United States, select a country from the Country drop-down menu. Once a country has been selected, the address fields automatically adjust to support international address entry.

The country code prefix for the Primary Phone and Alternate Phone numbers default to the United States, regardless of the country selected in the Country drop-down menu. If the phone number is not a United States phone number, users can select the applicable country code from the Country Code menu.
