Missed visits can now be downloaded and printed to facilitate seamless operations, documentation tracking and thorough record-keeping to accommodate agency policies and procedures for missed visits.
In Axxess Hospice, missed visits can be documented and completed by the assigned user on the scheduled date of the missed visit or any date prior to the missed visit.
To complete a missed visit, navigate to the Patient Schedule under the Schedule tab. On the patient’s schedule, select the red sticky note icon in the Actions column.

Enter the reason for the missed visit and any narrative comments. Check the appropriate boxes to indicate if the physician/RN case manager were notified of the missed visit, and enter the name of the physician/case manager who was notified. Click Complete to complete the visit or Cancel to close the window without saving changes.
Once completed, the visit will be marked as missed on the Patient Schedule.
To download a missed visit, select the download icon under the Actions column in the Patient Schedule.
