Level of Care Rates for Vendors


The following functionality is coming soon to Axxess Hospice. Axxess will alert you when this feature is available. Check your messages in Axxess Hospice for important alerts from Axxess.


Axxess Hospice has added new fields to the hospital, hospice, nursing facility and skilled nursing facility vendor types. These fields enable users to enter contracted rates for respite and general in-patient levels of care.


To set up contracted rates for vendors, users must have permission to view, add and edit vendors in Axxess Hospice.

Vendor Permissions


To give a user permission to manage vendors, edit the user’s profile and navigate to the Permissions tab. In the Administration section, select View, Add and Edit next to the Vendors permission. Click Save to finish granting the permissions to the user.

Add Room & Board to a Vendor


Room and board information can be added to hospital, hospice, nursing facility and skilled nursing facility vendors. To add room and board information to an existing vendor, navigate to the lists menu and select Vendors. Click Edit next to the appropriate vendor.


On the Vendor Details tab, select Hospital, Hospice, Nursing Facility or Skilled Nursing Facility from the Vendor Type drop-down menu.


Next, navigate to the Room & Board tab and click Add LOC Rate to add rates to the vendor.


Enter the Level of Care, Rate, Effective Date and End Date if applicable, and click Save.


Once all updates have been made to the vendor, click Save at the bottom of the screen to return to the Vendors list.


To edit, delete or deactivate a rate on an existing vendor, select the appropriate icon under the Actions column.


Once level of care rates have been added to a facility and a patient has received care, the rates will display on the Hospice Room & Board Contract Report in the Report Center.
