Axxess Hospice provides embedded resources so agencies can stay up-to-date on the latest COVID-19 information and how it impacts agency operations. Guidance throughout the software helps agencies stay compliant and gives clinicians direct access to the information they need.
In the top right corner of Axxess Hospice, users can hover over the Help menu to navigate directly to Axxess’ COVID-19 Resource Center. The COVID-19 Resource Center is constantly updated with the latest information on COVID-19 and the industry’s response to the pandemic.
Links are integrated throughout the patient chart, providing guidance on diagnosis coding and emergency preparedness planning from the CDC.
The first link appears in the Clinical Information tab of the patient profile above the patient diagnoses list.
Click this link to navigate directly to the CDC’s guidance for diagnosis coding around COVID-19. Guidance will open in a new browser tab, so you do not lose your place in the patient profile.
The next link has been added in the Emergency Preparedness tab of the patient profile.
Click this link to navigate to the CDC’s COVID-19 Resource Page, which is kept up-to-date 24/7 by the CDC. This is a great resource to use when developing patient-specific emergency preparedness plans based on assessed needs.
Resource links also appear throughout clinical documentation to provide teaching and guidance as clinicians document assessments.
