Claim Notes


Claim notes provide easy-to-use messaging tools so billers can track historical progress of individual claims. Agencies can use claim notes to maintain appropriate internal documentation from billing screens where supplemental notes can be entered and modified. This functionality streamlines follow-up, collection and reconciliation of all bill types.


To access claim notes, users must have permission to access the Billing Center.

Claim Note Permissions


To give a user permission to access the Billing Center, navigate to the Permissions tab in the user’s profile. Select Access Billing Center in the Billing section of permissions. Click Save to finish granting the user permission to access the Billing Center.


Admin tab ➜ Lists ➜ Users ➜ Edit ➜ Permissions tab ➜ Billing section ➜ Access Billing Center ➜ Save


Add Claim Notes


Once the permission is enabled, users can access claim notes from the Billing Center, Pending Claims, Claims History, RAP Claims, Final Claims and Managed Care Claims.
