The system has been updated on the Plan of Care to display only the OASIS’ data in Vital Signs Parameters, Frequency and Duration, and Patient’s Personal Healthcare Goal(s). Data in other fields will not display.
For any Skilled Nurse Note (on/after 01/13/2018) in the QA Center, selecting View Plan of Care will open the associated Plan of Care (POC) in the current PDF format.
All patient names in the QA Center are now hyperlinked. When clicking on any name displayed in the QA Center, the Patient Charts screen of that patient will open for viewing.
When selecting View Plan of Care in the Skilled Nurse Visit, the Plan of Care screen will open in view-only mode. All action and add/edit buttons (including Refresh, Save, and Complete on the bottom of the screen) are either hidden or disabled. This prevents the Plan of Care from returning to QA.
In the Start of Care OASIS-C2 assessment, the clinician is now able to select the new ‘Need for other Aide Services (Medicaid)’ problem statement (OASIS > Functional Status tab > (section) Plan of Care Orders > (selected) Need for other Aide Services (Medicaid)).
When clicking on this new POC problem statement, the following new Interventions/orders will be displayed and can be selected (multi-select option):
Each of the new Intervention/order, if selected, will open a pre-populated and editable text box. Please note that the Need for Additional Services allows the clinician to select the services from the agency’s pre-defined templates, or to manually enter information in the text box. All information entered for the selected new Order will flow to the Plan of Care and the Plan of Care Summary.
In addition to the new Need for other Aide Services (Medicaid) Intervention/orders, following related new Goals will also be displayed and can be selected (multi-select option):
Each of the new Goals, if selected, will open a pre-populated and editable text box. Please note that the Additional Goals allows the clinician to select the goals from the agency’s pre-defined templates or manually enter text in text box. All information entered for the selected new Order will flow to the Plan of Care.
In the Plan of Care Profile’s SN tab, the clinician is now able to add an order with the new Need for other Aide Services (Medicaid) problem statement (POC Profile (SN) > SN Add Order tab > (selected) Need for other Aide Services (Medicaid)).
When selecting the new Need for other Aide Services (Medicaid) problem statement, following new Interventions/orders will be displayed and can be selected (multi-select option):
