Sandata Visit Date Adjustments

To better align with Sandata’s system limitations, Axxess Home Health has disabled the Adjusted Visit Date field when making manual visit adjustments. Sandata does not allow visit dates to be modified once they have been recorded. This enhancement ensures compliance with Sandata visit‑adjustment requirements and helps maintain accurate visit data across the system. This enhancement applies to Sandata users in CA, CO, DC, DE, HI, ID, IN, MA, MO, NC, OH, PA, RI, TN and WI.

Adjusted Visit Date Field


The Adjusted Visit Date field is now disabled within the Verified Visit Log. Users can update only allowable fields, such as visit time. If a user attempts to adjust the date, a message will appear notifying the user that the change is not permitted.


Visit Date Corrections


When a visit date needs correction, the required process is:


  1. Mark the original visit as non-billable

  2. Resubmit the visit

  3. Create a new visit with the correct date
