Axxess Home Care now enables users to specify the send date when marking an order as sent for physician signature. This enhancement facilitates greater accuracy in orders management and tracking.
Note: This feature is not available to organizations that use an orders management integration.
Once an order is completed and in the Orders To Be Sent list, select the new ellipsis icon under Actions next to the order you wish to send.

Selecting the ellipsis icon will open the Select Send Date window. Enter or select the date that the order was sent to the physician and click Save. The order will be marked as sent and moved to the Orders Pending Signature screen with the selected send date.
To mark multiple orders with the same send date, select the checkboxes next to the desired orders and click Mark as Sent in the top-right corner of the screen.
Once Mark as Sent is selected, the Select Send Date window will appear. Enter or select a date and click Save. Each of the selected orders will be marked as sent and moved to the Orders Pending Signature screen with the selected send date.
The Receive Order button in the Actions column on the Orders Pending Signature screen has also been replaced with an ellipsis icon, but all other functionality remains the same.
To mark an order as received, select the ellipsis icon and click Receive Order.
Enter the date the order was signed and the date the order was received, and click Update.
To mark multiple orders as received, select the checkboxes next to the desired orders and click Mark Selected as Received in the top-right corner of the screen.
