As of November 19, 2025, Missouri providers can begin accruing minutes from short visits (visits less than a full 15‑minute unit). Once the total reaches a full 15‑minute unit, providers can submit those minutes as an Accrued Minutes Visit. This supports more accurate billing as Missouri transitions to validating claims using EVV data.
To document an Accrued Minutes Visit in Axxess Home Care, navigate to the EVV Details screen and select Accrued Minutes Visit from the Reason Code drop-down menu.

Must be submitted within the same month the minutes were accrued.
Only one Accrued Minutes Visit per day, per client, per procedure/modifier.
Duration must be in 15‑minute increments (15, 30, 45, etc.).
Visit must include all required fields on the EVV Details page to reach Verified status.
To ensure accurate calculations, payers integrated with Sandata Missouri must use Round Task by Duration and Round Down a Unit.

A new Accrued Minutes Visits Report will be added to the EVV Reports section in the Report Center in April. This report will help users more easily track and reconcile accrued minutes.
On the aggregator side, there is already a report that shows accrued minutes. When the aggregator receives visits that include accrued minutes, those minutes are deducted from the provider’s total remaining minutes, so providers can see both what they’ve earned and what they’ve spent.
