Axxess Home Care now enables users in Kansas to download and upload captured EVV data to the AuthentiCare portal using the AuthentiCare EVV Kansas Export Report, ensuring accurate EVV reporting and compliance.

To begin using the EVV export report, providers should inform AuthentiCare of their intention to use Axxess as an alternative EVV vendor and follow the steps provided below.

1. Navigate to Company Setup under the Admin tab and select the Electronic Visit Verification tab.

2. Select AuthentiCare from the Aggregator drop-down menu. Select Kansas from the State drop-down, then select the applicable branches and payment sources.

3. Navigate to List under the Admin tab and select Payment Sources. Navigate to the desired payment source and select Edit under the Actions column.

On the UB-04 tab, navigate to the Bill Rates tab and click the edit icon under the Actions column to enter the appropriate EVV procedure code. The code must match the required service IDs accepted by AuthentiCare for the state of Kansas.

4. To grant users access to the AuthentiCare Kansas EVV Export Report, navigate to the Employee Center under the Employees tab. Select the desired user and click the Permissions tab from the Quick Links menu. In the Reports section, expand the Electronic Visit Verification Reports section and select the checkboxes next to AuthentiCare Kansas EVV Export Report. Click Save to finish granting the permission to the user.

5. Once visits associated with the configured payers have been completed, navigate to the Report Center under the Reports tab and select the AuthentiCare Kansas EVV Export Report under the Electronic Visit Verification Reports section.

6. Enter the appropriate filter options and click Generate.

7. Locate the downloaded report by navigating to Completed Reports under the Reports tab.

8. To download and save the report, click the report name and save it in the downloaded format.

9. Log into the AuthentiCare portal with the credentials provided by AuthentiCare, and follow the instructions for uploading EVV records.
