Axxess Home Care now provides a Vital Sign Parameters section in Company Setup. This enhancement streamlines operations and ensures compliance by enabling organizations to specify vital sign parameters for clients that flow to subsequent assessments, improving client outcomes and reducing clinician documentation time.
To enable vital sign parameters, navigate to Company Setup under the Admin tab. On the Clinical tab, click Enable under Vital Signs Parameters.
Admin tab ➜ Company Setup ➜ Clinical tab ➜ Vital Signs Parameters section ➜ Enable

Select Edit to enter the desired values into the table.

Once the desired values are entered, select Save.

Once Vital Sign Parameters have been enabled and the desired values have been entered into the table, the parameters will flow into the following assessments:
SN Assessment Start of Care
SN Assessment Recertification
Non-OASIS Assessment Start of Care
Non-OASIS Assessment Recertification
OASIS Start of Care
OASIS Recertification
OASIS Resumption of Care
SN Pediatric Assessment
Custom Care Plan
Home Health Aide Care Plan
Plan of Care
The parameters on the assessments are also editable, enabling users to enter client-specific parameters.

Once an assessment is completed with the client’s vital sign parameters, these parameters will flow to any subsequent assessments and the Plan of Care. These parameters are housed under the Orders for Discipline & Treatments section of the Plan of Care.
