How do I post visits to Axxess CARE?

To post a visit to Axxess CARE, schedule the visit in Axxess Home Health and click Post to Axxess CARE in the Schedule Center. In the confirmation window, select the desired task and click Confirm Posting.

Who can post visits for my organization?

Users with admin roles in Axxess Home Health can post visits to Axxess CARE. Admin roles include:

Scheduler

 

Office Manager

 

Who can manage my organization’s visits in Axxess CARE?

Users with admin roles in Axxess Home Health can manage visits posted to Axxess CARE. Admin roles include:

How do I post visits internally?

To post an internal visit to Axxess CARE, schedule the visit in Axxess Home Health and click Post to Axxess CARE in the Schedule Center. In the confirmation window, check the box next to Check this box to post visit internally. Select the desired task and click Confirm Posting to finish posting the visit. Visits posted internally will only be available to your organization’s staff. Visits posted externally will be able to all qualified clinicians in the area.

Can I include visit details or special instructions when posting a visit?

Yes. Once a visit is posted to Axxess CARE, users can add visit details and special instructions for the visit. All clinicians on the app can view visit details, so users should not include any patient information in the Details section of a visit. Special instructions are only accessible to clinicians who have been assigned to and accepted the visit, so patient information can be included in a visit’s special instructions.

How do I pay clinicians for the visits I post?

Enter your credit card information on the Payment Methods screen under the Admin tab in Axxess CARE. Once a visit is completed and approved by QA, the selected payment method will be used to compensate the clinician for completing the visit.

What happens if no one accepts a visit?

If no one accepts a visit, it is the organization’s responsibility to fill the visit internally or mark the visit as missed. The visit should be removed from Axxess CARE.

What information appears in a clinician’s profile?

Organizations can review the following information in a clinician’s profile:

Can Axxess CARE integrate with my software?

Axxess CARE is only integrated with Axxess Home Health software.

How does a new clinician impact my user count for my payment plan with Axxess?

Temporary access given to a clinician for an Axxess CARE visit will not impact your user count or payment plan.

Can I remove a visit from Axxess CARE if I no longer need coverage?

Yes. You can withdraw any visit from Axxess CARE up until the visit has been started by the clinician. If the visit has already been assigned, you must unassign the clinician before removing the visit.

Who sets the pay rates for visits posted to Axxess CARE?

The pay rates for visits on Axxess CARE are designated by the home healthcare organization posting the visits. Your organization can modify visit pay rates any time by selecting Pay Rates under the Admin tab on the left-side menu in Axxess CARE.


Axxess CARE provides suggested pay rates for each visit type based on payment trends in your local area and minimum pay rates established based on extensive market research.


The suggested pay rates help your organization quickly meet staffing and scheduling needs and ensure that visits are posted at fair market value rates.

How do I know when a visit has been accepted?

When an assigned clinician accepts a visit on Axxess CARE, you will receive a message in Axxess Home Health notifying you that the visit has been accepted.

How does the assigned clinician know what services the patient needs?

Once a visit is accepted, the assigned clinician receives access to the patient’s chart, medication profile, plan of care and any additional instructions related to the visit.

If I post the wrong type of visit to Axxess CARE, can I update it?

Yes. If you post the wrong type of visit to Axxess CARE, correct it by completing the following steps:


  1. Remove the visit from Axxess CARE
  2. Correct the visit in Axxess Home Health
  3. Repost the corrected visit to Axxess CARE


You can remove any visit from Axxess CARE up until the visit has been started by the clinician. If the visit has already been assigned, you must unassign the clinician before removing the visit.
