Delete and Restore Patients from Patient List


Axxess Palliative Care now enables users to delete and restore patients from the Patient List. This enhancement streamlines operations by enabling users to delete patients without submitting a ticket. It also provides ease of use by giving users the ability to restore patients if needed.


Users must have permission to view, edit and delete patients in Axxess Palliative Care.

Patient List Permissions


To give a user permission to delete a patient, edit the user’s profile and navigate to the Permissions tab. In the Administration section, select View, Edit and Delete next to the Patient List permission. Click Save to finish granting the permissions to the user.

Delete a Patient


To delete a patient, navigate to the three-line menu in the top-right corner and select Patient List under Lists.

The patient list defaults to all active patients. Users can filter by branch, team, status, tags and search for a patient. To delete a patient, select the trash can icon under Actions.


Select Delete to delete a patient. Once deleted, a confirmation message will appear.


Restore a Patient


To restore a patient, click the Deleted toggle, navigate to the patient and select Restore under Actions.


Select Restore to restore a patient. Once restored, a confirmation message will appear.
