Wound care reimbursement and compliance are driven by appropriate wound documentation, which also serves as the source for recording the type of wound, monitoring the progression of care, and ultimately the gauge for outcomes. There are an increasing number of patients being discharged home with various wounds, and it is essential clinical staff can competently recognize and appropriately manage their care. Attending this series of webinars will not only prepare clinical staff to understand how to recognize and classify wound types and their etiology, but learn best practices for optimal treatment strategies and documentation of wounds, improved reimbursement, and achieving positive clinical outcomes.
