The Wound Care Nurse (W.C.N.) certification course is a program formulated to package the most crucial aspects of wound care management into a 1 day course, meeting the educational needs of the busy nursing professionals working in different clinical settings. It includes a review of the fundamentals of wound care and common treatment options, also a skills competency lab for hands on experience to better function as Wound Care Nurses. The course ends with a skills check off and theory examination to ensure competency in wound care.
