On October 5, Axxess had the pleasure of hosting a meeting of The Dallas Friday Group, with featured speaker Ambassador Ron Kirk, United States Trade Representative and past Dallas mayor. Pictured are Axxess CEO John Olajide with Ambassador Kirk and Dallas Friday Group chairman (and Dallas healthcare leader) Ruben Esquivel. The luncheon was held at the Omni hotel in downtown Dallas.

Axxess CEO John Olajide welcomed members of the Friday group and guests and shared the story of how Axxess has been able to introduce truly innovative software products that help home health agencies run efficiently. He shared how Axxess is using a combination of deep industry experience and a caring and responsive culture to help home health agencies transition to complete digital records, grow their business, ensure compliance and streamline their operations.

Ambassador Ron Kirk spoke after John Olajide’s remarks and shared several incisive anecdotes regarding his experiences as the US Trade representative in the promotion of trade with the USA across the globe. Ambassador Kirk shared his department’s mandate to double US exports within 5 years and how that translates into more jobs right here in the US. He explained the trade agreements signed under his leadership so far and their importance to the overall US economy. He shared some of the challenges that remain and his department’s work to overcome them.
