Ron Barrera
Director, Financial Consulting
Ron is Director, Financial Consulting at Simione Healthcare Consultants, LLC with over 28 years of progressive home care and hospice experience. Previously held positions include Chief Financial Officer for the VNA of Texas, a $75 million nonprofit that provided a number of community services in the Dallas/Fort Worth region. He has also served as Vice President of Operation for a large for profit home health agency
In his role as a consultant, Ron has performed various interim management positions such as CEO, CFO, and other positions for providers ranging in size from $25 million to more than $200 million. His duties include financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, accounts receivable management, acquisitions, transition of new acquisitions, purchasing and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement issues. Ron is also an active member of the National Association for Home Care and the Home Care and Hospice Financial Managers Association.
