Ask Axxess is a search tool within the Axxess platform that allows billing teams to locate patient remittance details, remittance records, and claims with billing errors directly from a search bar, without navigating through multiple billing screens. To find remittance information for a specific patient, users search by patient name and date context, such as "Cervenka Anslee April claims," and select the remittance advice from the results. The open remittance record displays claim, payment, and adjustment details. To look up a remittance record by number, users enter the remittance number, such as 603763698, into the search bar, then open the result to review associated claim information and verify claim linking for cash posting workflows. To identify claims flagged with billing errors, users search using error terminology, such as "NOE error primary diagnosis required," and select the relevant claim from results. The claim detail confirms the specific error flag, in this case "Primary Diagnosis is Required," applied to the patient's Notice of Election. Ask Axxess supports remittance lookup by patient name or remittance number, claim error identification by error description, and review of claim, payment, adjustment, and linking details within a single search interface.
