New to Axxess. I would like to track ALL referrals that come to our HHA including the ones we are unable to service. This morning, I received a referral and cannot service due to insurance. As I continue to add this patient under "new referral", I get "stuck" when it comes to the insurance area. I begin to add the insurance we do not take, but unable to fully complete this portion due to lack/no information since we are not a provider. However, I feel it is important to track all these metrics as time continues, we can see trends in our area of preferred insurance plans people are gravitating to.
So, my question is to how to "note" the insurance and continue to proceed with the "new referral" demographics without providing all the details needed for me to continue pass the insurance section of this page. It would be nice to have this information handy and "mine-able" to get understand referral patterns, payer sources and types of cases being ordered.
