Here is a list of other issues identified since this disastrous update:
1) HCFA 1500 forms prior to the update are no longer viewable/printable from PDF. Clinking on these forms will cause an "Application Error" in AXXESS which results in being knocked out of the system. I would say only about 25% of these claims will actually view without this issue taking place. I contacted customer support and the response was to delete the claim and re-create it. This is an unacceptable resolution. What about all the payment info and adjustment info that has been posted to the claim? What if you excluded visits for a specific reason during the initial creation of the claim? There are too many opportunities for an error to take place.
2) Skilled nurse visits on the claim forms that will pull up (mostly UB04 forms) are showing code G0154 instead of G0300/G0299. I had to have a ticket created for this issue.
When are these problems and the first two issues reported above going to be corrected? Your development team now has a history of recklessly updating the billing/insurance side of the system with no regard to data that will be lost. I am missing a ton of payment information back from when they updated the way payments are posted for episodic billing.
