Advanced Billing
This course is the third in the series on the introduction to Medicare Billing, moving further into the use of Direct Data Entry (DDE), denials and the appeals process, further rounding out the concepts covered in the Intermediate webinar. We will discuss the use of the DDE electronic billing system to process batch bills along with how to view the claim count summary. Also using DDE for the monitoring of Additional Development Request (ADR), making claim adjustments and corrections, and cancellations. We will also discuss the key methods for preventing denials, and handling the appeals process when necessary.
